Viking Knot

The Vikings were famous seafarers, proficient in the use ropes of all types. In their spare time, in the long winter nights or waiting in their ships between raids, they would knot ropes in ancient patterns symbolizing the never-ending and convoluted cycles of night and day, summer and winter, birth and death, the rise and fall of kings and nations, all under the piercing eye of Odin the Allfather, king of gods. And also, of course, just to kill a few hours of boredom. This is one such rope-pattern, made available to you in our usual selection of precious metals.
