This stylized figure of a horse has been inspired from Nordic Bronze Age stone carvings, showing ritual scenes of a mysterious and little understood mythology. Perhaps the origins of the gods of the later Viking period can be found in those carvings, Thor and Odin striding to war with the giants of legend, and the great wheel of time turning the seasons.
