The Earthmother is a representation of the Venus of Willendorf, one of the earliest known artworks of humankind. This small figurine, found in Austria on the banks of the Danube river, is approximately 25.000 years old.It may have been an idol of an early earth-goddes, or ,perhaps, a man chose this way to express the love and admiration that he felt for his wife.
